Do all US green card holders need a visa for Spain?

While US citizens currently do not require a travel visa for a short-term category ( 90 days period) to visit Spain, if you have a green card and are a national of a non-Schengen country by birth, you will need a travel visa as you are still considered a third-country national as per Schengen area free movement.

If you are on a B1/B2 visa, you cannot apply for a Spain visa in the US; you need to apply for it in your country of birth.
